We couldn’t be prouder of our Rising Tide Explorers biologist guides, Celina and Cierra!
When they’re not leading guests on the water, Celina and Cierra are out in the field as Environmental Specialists with Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, monitoring sea turtle nests, collecting important data, and helping protect the incredible wildlife and habitats of Southwest Florida.
Their recent encounter with an invasive black spiny-tailed iguana and a tiny loggerhead hatchling is a perfect example of the unexpected moments that happen when you work in this remarkable environment!
