Jen Mitchell Travel is available to our clients 24/7 to answer questions, handle emergencies or in making arrangements. As a concierge travel agency we not only book travel but are here to help with anything surrounding our clients’ trip. If you prefer we come to your home to go over your plans we are happy to come to you. If you prefer a mutual location, we can meet over coffee or lunch. This model gives us the time we need to get to know you better so that you are sure to have an experience that best matches your travel preferences and personalities. You will work with the same agent each time and we will remember your travel preferences so you don’t have to repeat yourself each time you book a trip. Depending on the involvedness of your trip we charge a trip planning fee to acknowledge the time and effort that our agents put into planning one-of-a-kind experiences. The fee varies based on the complexity of the arrangements.

But ChatGPT is a brainstorming tool, not a travel agent. It can dream up an amazing trip... and also miss sold-out tours, real flight prices, and seasonal access issues that only a local expert would catch.

An expedition cruise that changed everything I thought I knew about cruising.
National Geographic Endurance took us from glowing Greenland fjords to puffin-covered cliffs in Iceland, with an itinerary that shifted with the weather and somehow got better each day. From kayaking among icebergs and polar plunges to dancing at the Herring Era Museum and wandering flower-filled Flatey, this journey was pure magic.

The real difference? The expedition team and National Geographic photographers who became friends, guides, and mentors — and the luxury bookends at The Retreat at Blue Lagoon and The Reykjavik EDITION.
