TGIF! Let's this weekend with some sweet n spooky fun downtown!

Great American Downtown is again presenting Monster Mash and Howl-O-Ween tomorrow! And be sure to vote for your favorite scarecrow while you're walking around.

From their e-newsletter (that you absolutely should subscribe to!):

"Monster Mash Takes Over Main Street This Saturday! Costumes ready? Candy secured? Because the Main Street Monster Mash and Howl-O-Ween Parade are THIS SATURDAY, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

Participating Downtown businesses will be handing out candy throughout the event. Just look for the yellow monster in the window to know where to stop for a treat! The full trick-or-treat map will go live tomorrow on our website and social media, so keep an eye out and start planning your route.

And while you’re making your way up and down Main Street, don’t forget to check out this year’s Downtown Scarecrows! Voting for your favorite scarecrow will be open for ONE DAY ONLY during Monster Mash, so take a good look at this year’s creations and make sure to cast your vote before the event ends at 1 p.m.

And there’s plenty more happening between candy stops! The Howl-O-Ween Puppy Parade kicks off at City Hall at 12 p.m. sharp, so bring your costumed four-legged friends or come Downtown to cheer them on.

Our friends at the Actorsingers will also be taking over Main Street for two performances at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. You definitely won't want to miss them!

Nashua trick-or-treat hours will be the usual date and time: Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 pm. A reminder if you have to be driving or coming home in those hours to take extra care and be on the lookout for children.

YAAAAAAA-MAS! Psyched to see that YAMAS Greek Eatery is now open! They'll have a PRIMO spot over looking our beautiful new Renaissance Park, for concert nights and other events, and stunning sunsets on the river. We can't wait to sit in their big windowed dining room, and look forward to warm-weather evenings on the deck! YAMAS is at 57 Factory Street, with parking right across the street at the garage. There's a few fun seasonal ways to this coming weekend!

1. Saturday: Nashua Parks and Recreation's annual Boo Bash is at Greeley Park from 3-6 pm.

2. Saturday: Nashua Public Library presents Nashua historian Alan Alan S. Manoian in a fun and educational walking tour of our historic Millyard area. Meet at Renaissance Park at 1 pm.

3. Sunday: Great American Downtown's final Farmers Market of the season is at Renaissance Park from 10 am - 1 pm.

4. Sunday: Fright Kingdom pumps the brakes and presents a Hardly Haunted afternoon from noon-3 pm.
