Before paper… there was papyrus. 🌿📜
Long before notebooks, printers, and smartphones, ancient Egyptians were turning a plant that grew along the Nile into something that would change the way humans recorded history.
🌿 Papyrus was carefully cut, layered, pressed, and dried to create sheets used for writing, artwork, religious texts, and everyday records.
And here’s the amazing part:
This simple plant helped preserve thousands of years of Egyptian stories, knowledge, and culture.
Today, you can still experience the traditional art of making papyrus in Egypt — and take home a piece of a tradition that began thousands of years ago. 🇪🇬
