We always hear about and see tours that are offered, but have you ever thought of which ones you would actually want to go on? Which would you prefer and if you had your choice of any location, where would you take the tours?

🚢 Carnival Cruise Line is testing something new, and I want to hear your thoughts! 👀

Carnival has introduced a pilot program that places a sticker on guests’ Sail & Sign cards to identify those who have prepaid their gratuities.

According to Carnival, the purpose is to recognize guest generosity and let crew members know gratuities have already been paid. Carnival also states that this will NOT affect the level of service guests receive.

Now, I have some questions! 🤔

If the level of service isn’t supposed to change, why does the crew need to know who prepaid? And could this unintentionally create a difference in how guests are treated?

📢 Before you jump in these comments, THIS IS A JUDGMENT-FREE ZONE! We’re not about to shame people who don’t prepay their gratuities. Everybody has their reasons, and we’re going to respect that!

Personally, I’m curious about the reasoning behind making this information visible on someone’s card.

What are your thoughts? Is this a good way to recognize guests who prepay, or is Carnival opening a door that should remain closed?
