Did you know there are 62 free drinking fountains across Budapest where you can refill your water bottle with safe drinking water?

You can find them directly in the BudapestGO app:

It’s one of those surprisingly useful city features that many visitors, and quite a few residents, don’t know exists.

If you’re spending the day exploring, heading to a festival, or simply trying to survive 35°C on a tram platform, it’s worth keeping a reusable bottle with you.

There’s also a wider map of public water points available through kozkutak.hu, which includes hundreds of additional public taps around Hungary.

Small tip. Big difference on a hot day.
