Monster waves are likely on all 5 of the Great Lakes Friday except for Lake Ontario. The latest marine forecast from the National Weather Service shows wave heights topping 15 feet on Lake Erie, and 20 feet on Lake Huron. Waves are expected to reach 25 feet on Lake Superior. However, the largest waves are expected in southern Lake Michigan with top wave heights up to 30 feet! Here is the current marine forecast from the National Weather Service…”Northwest gales to 45 kt. Showers. Waves 15 to 20 ft occasionally to 26 ft building to 18 to 23 ft occasionally to 30 ft.” Impressive!
