I’m picky on tours and I can say with CONFIDENCE that ANY tour coming out of this company is 10/10..no notes.. chefs kiss. I don’t say that lightly. I have been on two to date with Anansi’s daughters, and Malika specifically. I came back to NOLA two years after my first tour, and this is the company that I will come back to again and again anytime I come back. I fully intend to immerse myself and hit every tour they have to offer during my stay this time, have read through some of the suggested reading on the website (fr what company gives you more to learn about after your tour time is up🥰🥰) and will likely get a reading too if I’m being honest.
Malika is always learning and always updating tours so I am not worried about overlap of knowledge. As a tour guide, she is not only SUPER knowledgeable but funny, endearing, kind, thoughtful, engaging and welcomes this tour to everyone. I will say that this is really geared for those who want to learn the truth, the culture, and the history behind the word Voodoo.
Pro tip: Bring a bottle of water, a fan, spf, and maybe an umbrella for shade per your comfort, (though you will find shade under the beautiful trees in the park, you may be like me and not want to share iykyk 🙂↕️)
