Just back from Deer Valley, and I have a prediction: this place is not going to stay the “quieter alternative” for long.

I spent four days here this summer and stayed at 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭. 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 — because I prefer to actually experience the places I recommend rather than send clients somewhere based on a pretty website and a prayer.

The verdict? Exceptional service, sweeping mountain views, gorgeous summer scenery, and enough to do that four days somehow felt too short.

I’m still a Montage Deer Valley girl too, but that’s exactly why working with a travel advisor matters. St. Regis, Montage, Pendry, Stein Eriksen, Goldener Hirsch, The Lodge at Blue Sky — they’re not interchangeable. The right hotel depends on the trip, the traveler and the experience you actually want.

And Deer Valley in summer? Criminally underrated. Hiking, fly fishing, biking, horseback riding, concerts, great restaurants and the kind of mountain air that makes you briefly reconsider every life decision that keeps you near humidity.
