This year is an important one for our Christian friends: It is the 1700th Anniversary of the acceptance of the Nicene Creed that defined Christianit since that time. It took place in ancient Niceae, present day Iznik, not too far from Istanbul. I made a short video; hope you like it!

Gypsy Kings made a clip at the Apollo temple in Didyma! One of the triple cities we recommend to visit from Izmir or Kusadasi. With the other two, Priene and Miletos, it is a wonderful tour.
Look at this temple! It took over two centuries to build but never totally completed.
The oracle of Didyma was just important as the one in Delphi!

Cappadocia will now be included in the Michelin Guide, after Istanbul, Izmir (Urla) and Mugla!
There are so many reasons to visit Cappadocia: Underground cities, Fairy Chimneys (yes they were built by fairies😀), cave churches, hot air balloon rides over the lunar-like landscape, staying at luxury cave hotels!
The cuisine of the region is also amazing; I can alsready guess what some of these Michelin-starred restaurants will be!

Cappadocia becomes the latest Turkish destination in The MICHELIN Guide, adding to İstanbul, İzmir and Muğla in the upcoming 2026 restaurant selection.

Ancient city of Antioch was badly damaged in the last earthquake in Turkey! It is one of the most amazing cities where people of all three religions co-existed side by side in pure harmony for thousands of years. It is a city that has to be a model for all of us, especially now!
For Christians it is extremely important as having the very first church and where the term “Christian” was used for the first time. The Museum Hotel is built over extensive Roman ruins! Imagine having you breakfast watching 2000 year of history! They survived the last earthquake!

Travel to Antioch and play a hand in their recovery 🇹🇷
