This month is breast cancer awareness month. Have you been diagnosed, receiving treatment, feeling hopeless...?

I too was there and I am thankful for my Father, Lord & Savior Jesus Christ healing me, my doctors treating me, my Church home, family and friends praying for me, being there and supporting me.

I am humbly honored to have had the opportunity to speak at Northside Hospital Tennis & Pickleball Fundraiser this past Friday to many who are survivors, some going through their journey and some caregivers..

I like to share my story with you and I like you to know that there is hope. It is rising amidst uncertainties and I give you that hope and make the following recommendations:

1. Believe in God who has the Power to Heal, by His stripes we are healed, pray and ask Him for your healing, He will hear you and He will answer, trust Him

2. Trust your medical team. They have the knowledge, skills and experience. One hospital I recommend is Northside Hospital, my favorite hospital and its care center Atlanta Cancer Care - they are built to beat it! Beat it they have and I believe beat it they will!

3. Lean on your family, friends and your Church home, people who love and support you

4. Be strong, anchored and hopeful, you are not alone. Let hope rise within you, in your mind, body, soul and spirit and let you faith carry through one day, one step at a time.
