Remembering and Honoring!
Many brave men and women fought hard for the freedom and privileges we enjoy today as Americans and residents of the great united states of America!
The last Monday in May is set aside to remember those brave men and women who lost their lives in the battles.
We are thankful and appreciative of their service and sacrifice!
Can we think for a moment though, what our world would be like when there is peace, love and unity in our communities, our societies, our nations, our world?! -
When we as human beings, brothers & sisters, mankind, lay down our swords, guns, weapons, ammunitions, when we stop the violence, the crime, the hatred, to study war no more?!
What a wonderful world it would be! Imagine!
As we take time to enjoy the holiday with family and friends, or just spending time alone, let us take time to say a prayer for those who lost their lives in battles, and for all of us around the world, for we are constantly in a battle, battle of the mind, battle for our souls, our health, our relationships, our marriage, our family, our friends, our finances, and whatever other battles there has been, there is, or may be.
The ups and downs of these battles keep us turning, keeps us on the edge, but the best part of these battles is when it keeps us on our knees in prayers, when we put our trust in the one to whom the battle belongs, the who has fought and won all battles –the Almighty Father God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us cast our cares and concerns on HIM who has brought and is bringing us through the test of times, the ONE who is able to do exceedingly above all that we could ever ask, hope for or imagine, and trust that he will come through for us and bring us through! Why would He do that?
Because he loves us so much and wants to give us a hope and a future!International Cultures and Exploration Africa (ICEA - The Bridges) are thankful to God for all of our lives and the privilege and opportunity to live in this great United States of America which serves as a melting pot of diversity for which we must All learn to love one another as we love ourselves despite our differences!
