Planning a beach day? Digging in the sand is part of the fun, but deep holes like the one we saw over the weekend can be dangerous if they’re left behind.

Here’s why:
• Sand can collapse quickly, trapping someone inside
• Hidden holes can cause serious falls and injuries, especially at night
• Rising tides can fill holes fast, creating a drowning risk
• Sea turtles and other wildlife can become trapped
• Beach patrol and emergency vehicles can be put at risk

City Ordinance Reminder:
In North Myrtle Beach, any hole deeper than 12 inches must be filled in before you leave the beach.

Before you pack up, take a moment to fill in any holes. It only takes a minute and helps keep our beaches safe for everyone.

Cherry Grove Beach. 2 bed/1 bath oceanfront. Max of 6 people.
1 king and 2 full beds. 1 parking space. We rent Sunday to Sunday and the weekly rate is $975 plus/tax and a $75 cleaning fee and the deposit is $325 (applied to the total). The deposit is due within 24 hours of booking to hold the week. The full balance is due 2 months prior to arrival. We accept Venmo, Zelle, & PayPal (friends & family). Refund of deposit due to cancellations will be refunded, if the week is rebooked, minus a $25 fee. SORRY NO PETS and this is a non-smoking unit, including the ocean front balcony and deck.

☀ Beach Basics for a Bright Day ☀

As beach season kicks off, we want to remind all residents and visitors to follow local beach regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable summer for everyone!

Quick Reminders 👇

Bicycles and E-Bikes: From May 15 through Labor Day, 10 AM – 4 PM, the operation of any bicycle (manual or electric) on the beach is prohibited.

Dog Owners: From May 15 through Labor Day, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 10 AM and 4 PM. No matter the time of year, all dogs must be leashed at all times, with a leash no longer than 7 feet. If your pup ‘leaves a gift,’ it is your job to scoop it!

NO Fires: Building, starting, or maintaining any fire or open flame—as well as using propane-fired grills, cookers, or other fire-heated devices—is strictly prohibited on the public beach, beach accesses, and street ends adjacent to the beach.

NO Fireworks: Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited on the beach. While they may seem like fun, fireworks pose serious safety risks, can cause fires, and are extremely disruptive to both people and wildlife.

NO Glass or Alcohol: Alcohol and glass containers are strictly prohibited on the beach. These rules are in place to help keep everyone safe—broken glass can cause serious injuries, and alcohol use on the beach often leads to unsafe behavior or situations that puts others at risk.

NO Littering: Littering is illegal and carries fines of up to $1,000. Please do your part to keep our beaches clean and beautiful by disposing of all trash properly.

Shuttle information for North Myrtle Beach. I have not used it but have seen it stop in front of Towers on the Grove right near our condo.
