🇮🇹Another beautiful day in Italy- part one! Rome feels like stepping into a living masterpiece 🎨where every path tells a story centuries in the making. We stood before the Colosseum and you can almost hear the echoes of the past, while the Arch of Constantine rises proudly beside it, marking triumphs long remembered.

We also wandered past the ruins of the Roman Forum 🏺, where history once unfolded in the heart of the city, and take in the quiet grandeur of the Temple of Venus and Roma nearby. Palatine Palace was where emperors once overlooked it all, and gazed down at Il Circo Massimo, a space that once roared with chariot races.

All around, the iconic pine nut trees 🌲 stretch toward the sky, adding a timeless beauty that frames every view. Rome isn’t just a destination, it’s a feeling you carry with you long after you leave ❤️

There are places that feel like a postcard… and then there’s Sorrento. 🇮🇹✨

Perched high above the sparkling Mediterranean, this coastal gem is pure magic with colorful buildings cascading down cliffs, lemon trees perfuming the air, and views that stretch endlessly across the water. And just across the bay? The legendary Mount Vesuvius standing tall, a reminder of the region’s powerful history and breathtaking beauty.

But let’s talk about the journey in… because OMG. That winding “Mamma Mia” street leading into Sorrento? 😅 Narrow, curvy, and hugging the cliffs—it’s not for the faint of heart. Equal parts thrilling and terrifying, but absolutely unforgettable!

Once you arrive, though… it’s all worth it. ❤️Charming piazzas, quaint shops, and that laid-back Italian elegance that makes you want to stay forever.

Sorrento isn’t just a destination—it’s a feeling. 💛

✨ Florence, Italy – A city that steals your heart ❤️ (Part 2)✨

Wandering through Florence yesterday felt like walking through a living museum. Every turn had another breathtaking view especially viewing the iconic Ponte Vecchio Bridge. The oldest and only bridge to have survived the bombings of WW II!

We spent time in the incredible Piazza della Signoria, surrounded by history, sculptures, and the energy of the city. And speaking of history, learning about the powerful (and slightly intimidating!) Medici family made it clear just how much they shaped Florence into what it is today.

We also went into the Basilica of Santa Croce. It’s a Franciscan church and one of the most important sites in Florence, often called the “Temple of the Italian Glories” because it holds the tombs of some of Italy’s greatest figures, including Galileo Galilei and Michelangelo.

And let’s talk about the FOOD… 🍝🍕
Authentic lasagna, fresh Italian pizza, and of course, sipping on rich Chianti, made our meal felt like an experience, not just dinner.

Florence is art, history, and flavor all wrapped into one unforgettable place. 🇮🇹❤️
