It's more than your average chili cookoff... Washington State Chili Cookoff moved to the beach in 2013. In 2023, celebrating that 10-year milestone, Word-Class chili was cooked up by The Grizzly Den. Attendees had an opportunity to order up in addition to tasting chili cooked by that year's competitors and voting for People's Choice.
Chilis-Traditional Red, Homestyle, Verde and Salsa (category now changed to Vegetarian Chili) were selected from World Champions who had been at previous Washington State Chili Cookoffs including 2013 when world champs from several states joined us.
It's history, World level competition, and you're able to enjoy, compete and cheer on the winners when a category sanctions, advancing to . How HOT 🔥 is that!

Washington State showed up with talent, flavor AND two cooks who rose above an elite field to claim their place on the road to 🎟️‼️

Congratulations to Chef Champion Nate Ryan and Pastry Champion Analise Mutchler, winners of the Top Tastes of Washington State in Ocean Shores.

Both champions now advance to in Indianapolis, where they’ll take their shot on the world’s biggest Food Sport stage 🌎🍽️
