🌋 From the Crater of Mount Vesuvius to the Charm of Sorrento! 🇮🇹
Our Italian adventure kicked off with a quick trip to Naples, where we hiked up to the crater of Mount Vesuvius, the legendary volcano most known for its eruption in 79 A.D. that buried the ancient city of Pompeii. We had the chance to walk the hauntingly preserved ruins of Pompeii—an unforgettable experience that brings history to life. 🏛️

Then it was off to Sorrento, where we stayed at the beautiful boutique Grand Hotel De La Ville, perfectly located in the heart of town. The view from our room? A breathtaking look at Mount Vesuvius—talk about full circle! 🌄

🍋 Farm & Food Tour – One of our favorite moments! We toured a working farm nestled in the hills, wandered lemon and olive groves, learned about local wine-making, and tasted freshly made olive oil, limoncello, and regional wines—topped off with a delicious farm-fresh lunch.

🌊 Island of Capri – We explored the gem of the Mediterranean with a full day on Capri, including a magical rowboat ride through the Blue Grotto—an experience I’ll never forget!

🚗 Private Amalfi Coast Day – From Sorrento, we set out with a private driver to explore the postcard-perfect towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello—each one more stunning than the last, with views that truly take your breath away.

Exploring the Eternal City has been nothing short of magical, and if Rome isn’t already on your bucket list—it should be! 🧳✈️

Here are just a few unforgettable experiences you must include when visiting:

🛺 Private Night Tour by Golf Cart
This was the perfect way to see the city sparkle! We stopped for photos at Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and Pantheon Square. Seeing these iconic landmarks beautifully lit under the Roman sky was beyond words. 🌟📸

💀 Catacombs & Capuchin Crypt Tour – A must-do!
This hauntingly beautiful tour takes you deep underground into Rome’s ancient burial chambers. The Capuchin Crypt is lined with the bones of thousands of monks—strangely peaceful and totally unforgettable. 🕯️💬

🎨 The Vatican & Sistine Chapel
No trip to Rome is complete without standing beneath Michelangelo’s masterpiece, “The Last Judgment,” inside the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican Museums are an art lover’s dream—absolute chills. 🎭🖼️

🏛️ Colosseum & Roman Forum
Step into ancient history where gladiators once battled! Touring the Colosseum is like walking through a time machine, and the Roman Forum is filled with ruins that whisper stories of emperors, politics, and Roman life. Truly epic. ⚔️🌿

Just returned from an unforgettable trip—and Florence did not disappoint! 🇮🇹✨ If Italy is on your list, let me help you plan something magical. Highlights from my stay:

🇮🇹Welcome to Bologna—the heart of Emilia-Romagna, where every corner tells a story and every meal is unforgettable. Known for its rich food scene, historic towers, and endless porticos, this vibrant city is a must for foodies, wine lovers, and curious travelers alike.
Trip Highlights – Bologna & Beyond
🚄 Arrival: We kicked off our adventure with a scenic train ride from Venice, arriving at the elegant I Portici Hotel, right in the city center.
🛴 City Exploration: A Segway tour gave us a unique way to explore Bologna’s medieval streets, passing landmarks like the Fountain of Neptune and Basilica di Santo Stefano, all while soaking in the charm of the city’s winding lanes and centuries-old arcades.
🧀 Culinary Experiences:
Over the next few days, we immersed ourselves in the flavors of the region with an incredible food & wine tour:
Witnessed the art of Parmigiano Reggiano cheesemaking (with tastings, of course!)
Visited a traditional acetaia to learn the secrets of aging balsamic vinegar
Explored the oldest Lambrusco winery, sampling exquisite wines in historic cellars
Enjoyed a Modenese feast with handmade pasta, regional dishes, local wine, and authentic Italian desserts
🌙 Evenings: We spent our nights strolling the city’s vibrant streets, stopping at cozy local spots to sip regional drinks and enjoy Bologna like the locals do.

Ciao from Venice! 🇮🇹
There’s truly no place like Venice—a city built on water, where every alleyway leads to something magical. No cars, no bikes—just boats, canals, and centuries of history around every corner.

We arrived by train and continued the journey in style with a private boat transfer to the stunning boutique hotel Americano Dinesen—a hidden gem right on the canal.

Of course, a private gondola ride was a must (totally worth it to skip the long lines and enjoy a peaceful experience). I always recommend taking a guided tour when you first arrive—it’s the best way to get your bearings and discover areas you'll want to explore more.

We joined a small group walking tour, including Doges Palace, starting in the breathtaking St. Mark’s Square, where we saw the beautiful and historic buildings that surround one of the most iconic squares in the world.

And the Murano Glassblowing Tour? Incredible. From the boat ride to watching the artisans at work, it was truly unforgettable.

Venice is one of a kind—romantic, historic, and full of surprises around every corner. Add it to your bucket list—you won't regret it! 💫

✨ Experience the Magic of Lake Como, Italy! ✨

Lake Como is where jaw-dropping natural beauty meets timeless Italian glamour. One of Europe’s deepest lakes, it's shaped like an upside-down “Y” and framed by the dramatic peaks of the Alps. Picture crystal-clear waters, lush hillsides, and postcard-perfect villages—like the enchanting Bellagio, known as the “Pearl of the Lake.”

We stayed at the elegant boutique Albergo Terminus, with a breathtaking lakefront room that made every morning feel like a dream. From there, we took the train up into the mountains for panoramic views that quite literally left us speechless.

One of the highlights? A private wooden boat tour across the lake—these sleek, classic boats are iconic to Como and offer a luxurious way to explore. We cruised past grand villas (yes, even George Clooney’s!) and charming lakeside towns. Our stop in Bellagio by boat was unforgettable, with cobblestone streets, flower-filled balconies, and irresistible gelato around every corner.

As if that wasn’t enough, we crossed the border by private car into Switzerland—an easy day trip packed with stunning scenery, luxury shopping, and Alpine charm. Back on the lake, we capped it all off by renting a Fiat boat—yes, like the car, but on water—for a fun, stylish way to take in the magic of Como at our own pace.

This destination truly has it all: romance, adventure, luxury, and serenity. Whether it’s a honeymoon, anniversary, or a once-in-a-lifetime escape.

Milan is a dazzling blend of timeless elegance and modern energy — and it truly stole our hearts. Staying at the stunning Unahotel Galles Milano, we were treated to breathtaking views from the rooftop bar, the perfect place to unwind as the sun dipped below the skyline. From our doorstep, we easily wandered to nearby parks, boutique-lined streets, and charming cafés — soaking up the local lifestyle.

The shopping certainly lived up to expectations in the fashion capital of Italy. From high-end designer stores to stylish local boutiques, Milan is a dream for fashion lovers and trend-seekers alike.

To get our bearings, we took an exciting Segway tour through the heart of the city. It was the perfect introduction for first-time visitors, bringing us up close to Milan’s iconic sights: the majestic Sforza Castle, the historic Piazza della Scala, the breathtaking Milan Cathedral (Duomo), and the glamorous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

A true standout was the walking food tour through the trendy Brera neighborhood — one of Milan’s most artistic and vibrant areas. Guided by a local foodie, we tasted Parma ham, Milanese meatballs, a refreshing spritz, and other local specialties, all while exploring the district’s picturesque alleys and hidden gems.

For a deeper dive into Milan’s history, we experienced the full Duomo tour. We explored the inside of one of the world’s most awe-inspiring Gothic cathedrals, then climbed to its rooftop for panoramic views of the city.

Milan is more than a destination — it’s filled with beauty, flavor, and unforgettable moments. Whether you’re into culture, cuisine, shopping, or just incredible views, this city should be at the top of your travel list.
