Hi, I'm Melia. Some of you have followed along for a while, some of you just found me, so let's do a proper hello.

I plan trips for people who are done doing it themselves. Busy professionals who want their vacation to actually feel like a vacation, and retirees who finally have the time to travel but not the patience for 47 browser tabs.

Caribbean all-inclusives, cruises, Alaska, Hawaii, custom Europe itineraries, I do it all, but those last three are where my heart is right now.

That view right there is why Curacao doesn’t get talked about enough.

My clients are there this week soaking it in at Sandals Curacao, and they picked the exact week to do it. Not just any trip, this one is doing double duty: a birthday and an anniversary, back to back, at a resort that somehow makes every sunset look amazing.

Curacao doesn’t get the spotlight the way Aruba or the Bahamas does, and that’s part of the magic. Fewer crowds, that famous turquoise water, and a Sandals property that leans into the island instead of covering it up with the usual resort playbook.

This is why I geek out over the little perks nobody tells you about. Booked a Curacao stay for a client and the resort threw in a complimentary Mini Cooper rental for the trip to cruise the island on their own. They didn't request it or even know it was a thing. It just showed up because of how the trip was booked.

How fun is that - exploring Curacao on your own in your own Mini Cooper? Yes Please!!
