Great day at Invasive Species Day at Schram Park!! This was an amazing event, and we were able to highlight our role in protecting the environment through lake cleanups and introduce new people to the idea of scuba! Dennis and I worked the table, but several members showed up as well! Overall fun time, the event itself looked really fun too ;).

Summer diving is officially on the calendar. 🌊

In two weeks we’re heading to Mount Etna for a GO Scuba morning dive — and this is one of our favorite local spots for a reason. Easy entry, solid quarry diving, and plenty of bottom time if you bring two tanks.

Dennis is providing food, so plan to hang out after and make a morning of it.

No buddy? No problem. We’ve got you covered.

🌊🤿 Prairie Queen Lake Cleanup Day! 🚣‍♀️🗑️

GO Scuba is out at Prairie Queen this morning partnering with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission to help keep our local waters clean.
While kayakers worked the surface collecting debris, our divers were underwater searching for and removing trash from below. It's a great example of how different groups can come together to make a positive impact on the places we all enjoy.

A big thank you to everyone who came out to volunteer today! 💙🌎

As part of today's Prairie Queen Lake Cleanup, GO Scuba had the opportunity to be interviewed by both Channel 3 and Channel 7 while partnering with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and other community volunteers to help clean up the lake.

We're excited to help showcase not only this important community event, but also the positive impact divers can have on our local environment. 🌊🤿

Memorial Day Weekend reminds us that the freedoms we enjoy—above and below the surface—were secured by the courage and sacrifice of those who served our nation. The Greater Omaha Scuba Club honors the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country. We pause in gratitude, remembering their dedication, bravery, and the legacy they leave behind. Today and always, we dive with appreciation for the heroes who made our way of life possible.
