It's time for the lake cleanup again. Let''s help out our community with a good deed. We will start meeting at 9 am, and plan on getting in the water around 10. Show up to 4706 Lake Forest Drive, this is off 48th and 370. Hopefully the rain will stay away. See you Saturday morning.

Hi everyone, sorry I have been absent this year but I am looking for some extra hands to help move the last of our things this weekend. We have two pickup trucks to fill, with the option to unload them into our lot. I'll gladly provide your favor drinks and would love to share some meat from our chest freezer as a thank-you. Let me know if you might be available for a few hour even one hour would help tremendously.

Small but mighty, 2 ladies along with 3 gentleman celebrated PADI Women's Dive Day today at the Mt. Etna Quarry. Just call club member Jennifer Warren the blue gill whisperer. Vis was good for the most part, 20 ft. in places. Water temp 85, thermocline varied at 15-17 ft. Thanks for grilling Dennis Jenkins.

Hay Greater Omaha SCUBA Club and all other friends.
Dates to keep in mind.
This Saturday at Mt Etna for the annual Lady's Dive Day.
Bring a side dish to share after the dive.
Saturday August 22nd we will be doing a lake cleanup on a private lake. More details to come.
Saturday September 12th we will have a table at World O Water, at Chalco Recreation Area, noon to 4pm. This is an event more for kids but anyone can attend.
More events to come. Hope to see you at the meeting this Thursday the 16th at Golden Coral 6006 North 72nd Street.

We made it to Mt. Etna this morning, but Mother Nature clearly had other plans—and she was throwing strikes. In a matter of 45 minutes, a massive storm rolled in, bringing sheets of pouring rain and wild winds that blew everything sideways.

Adventure paused! Until next time... Bubbles up!

Great day at Invasive Species Day at Schram Park!! This was an amazing event, and we were able to highlight our role in protecting the environment through lake cleanups and introduce new people to the idea of scuba! Dennis and I worked the table, but several members showed up as well! Overall fun time, the event itself looked really fun too ;).
