The 32nd Annual Holy Ghost Creole Festival returns November 6-8, 2026, bringing a weekend filled with incredible Creole culture, live music, delicious food, and family fun. From fried fish dinners and famous pork stew to zydeco music, a 5K run, and the beloved Creole Festival Parade, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Looking to explore your artistic side? Local artist Valli D Soileau is hosting watercolor painting classes at Abacus Coffee in Opelousas! Whether you’re a beginner or simply looking to try something new, these classes are a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill and let your creativity flow.

From youngsters to the young at heart, French Table was a full house!

We had a wonderful morning at the Louisiana Orphan Train Museum at Le Vieux Village de Poste des Opelousas for La Table Française des Opelousas! Our group enjoyed exploring common French sayings and expressions, sharing a few laughs, and learning how everyday phrases bring language and culture to life.

A big merci to everyone who joined us and helped make today’s gathering such a success!
