HERE’S OUR TOP 5 MUST-DO’s after attending opening night…
• Downtown Clowntown scare zone: This was SO much fun and it’s the LARGEST scare zone HHN has ever done! It’s pretty much an entire loop around the New York area and we gotta say…some of most memorable times last night was from interacting with clowns from this area. It’s FUN!!! And Art the Clown is there as Santa 😂
• Jack & Oddfellow house: To be honest, this house wasn’t in our most anticipated list…but after going in it it got our attention. SO many cool visual effects and rooms. One of the coolest set of rooms in the last few years at HHN!!
• Ozzy Osbourne house: This house just ROCKS!!! It plays all of Ozzy’s hits which establishes the mood. It has a CRAZY TRAIN (coolest part of any house this HHN season. It’s dark, spooky. It’s just awesome. You gotta do this house! It might be a long wait, but prioritize it, especially if you’re an Ozzy fan. You won’t regret waiting in the line.
• Stranger Things water show: If you’re a fan of the show, this is such a unique show. It’s HUGE, and plays ALL the hits from the show. You get to see all your favorite characters again in iconic scenes. It’s just so nostalgic and unique, you gotta see it 🥹
• Cybergoria: This will be the SLEEPER original house this year. It’s probably the scariest, and won’t be as long of a wait time as the other main IP houses. It’s about AI taking over the world. GO to this house, it’s a hidden GEM.
Honorable mention…
TRY one of the spooky Halloween foods that HHN had to offer! Our FAVORITE was the Catfish and Grits from the Sinners booth. We know that might not sound too appealing to a lot LOL, but it was SO good. We had other tasty snacks throughout the night like the walking taco, Mac and cheese with beef jerky, and a spicy dumpling…but the catfish took the cake. We recommend trying at least one speciality food item from HHN this year…the culinary team does a fantastic job!
