Disney Cruise Line Fall 2027/Spring 2028 dropped & booking is currently opened for select Castaway Club guests ✨🚢

For Disney Treasure, here’s what we’re most excited for:

✨January 2028 — a 6-night itinerary with TWO stops at Disney’s Castaway Cay

🚢✨Disney Cruise Line: The Basics✨🚢

Wishing to set sail on the most magical cruise line at sea?? Here’s a quick breakdown of terms specific to both cruising & Disney Cruise Line:

✨Nautical Terms: AFT, FWD, Midship, Starboard, Port
— refers to location on the ship (back-front-middle of ship and then port is left vs starboard is right) — not specific to DCL
— knowing these helps with not only choosing the right stateroom, but also navigating the ship
—DCL does a great job with carpet or decor changes between FWD and AFT to help you stay oriented

✨Rotational Dining
—specific to DCL and one of our favorite things about a Disney Cruise
—you rotate between dining locations each night and your waitstaff comes with you! So by the end of the cruise, you’re like family

✨Muster Station
— where you report during an emergency situation (follow ship prompts)
— prior to any sailing, guests are informed of their muster station & on DCL, you’ll report to your muster station for safety briefing before you set sail

✨Embarkation vs Disembarkation vs Ports
— embarkation is your first day when you board the ship (YAY🎉) via the gangway (ramp/walkway to ship)
— disembarkation is the final day when you leave the ship (BOO😢)
— port of call - the destinations or stops on your cruise — you can do excursions (planned activity) or go at your own pace or stay on ship

✨Key to the World
— this is your official ID plus room key and how you make purchases on the ship
— it also shows your muster station location & dining info (time & table number)
