Our summer family vacay this year was extra amazing because I got ALL my boys for the first time in a long time. We made the questionable decision to go to Orlando in the summertime (IYKYK), and endured some pretty intense weather, but it’s one of my favorite trips we’ve ever taken. Some highlights of our time at Universal Orlando:

* Staying at the lovely Royal Pacific Hotel, just steps to the theme parks
* Introducing my two big boys to the brand new park, Epic
* Torrential rain, then surface of the sun heat, then beautiful rainbows
* Eating all the treats
* Celebrating Noah’s 19th birthday
* Trying out a fun escape room at City Walk
* Velocicoaster. At least 10 times. It’s the best coaster.

Day 4 on the Disney Treasure! We docked in the open water off the coast of Grand Cayman and took tender boats to shore. This was my first time to this beautiful island and I’m excited to come back and explore more. Today was also Pirate Night, with extra festivities planned for the evening and themed activities all day. Did you know Disney is the only cruise line that has fireworks at sea? It’s always so fun to see other cruise ships parked nearby in the ocean trying to catch a glimpse of the show. Today’s highlights:

* Seeing our ship from the shore. She’s so pretty!
* Visiting Seven Mile Beach and getting some reading time in
* Tender boats back and forth from the ship
* More soft serve 😉
* Dressing up for dinner + sunset vibes
* Jon Armstrong, magician and comedian
* Visiting the adults only dining area and dinner at Palo
* Pirate night (parties + fireworks at sea!)

Day 3 on the Disney Treasure! Today was Halloween themed, and we had the best time indulging in all the festivities. Highlights:

* Up before sunrise and watching the ship dock in Cozumel
* Chai lattes and work collab at Cove Cafe
* More soft serve
* Lunch on the pool deck
* The Halloween Tree
* Trick-or-Treating on the ship
* Ship tour with Matthew! Learned so many cool things about the ship
* Halloween fun on the pool deck
* Dinner at World of Marvel with a surprise guest
* Photo ops with the characters in their Halloween best
* More towel creations! Bat, ghost, what’s your guess?

Our first full day on the Treasure was a sea day, and though it was a little gloomy outside, we found the perfect mix of relaxation, eating, and activities.

Today’s highlights:

* The Rainforest Room
* ice cream cones
* Pixar trivia (so hard!)
* The FlyBoys NYC fun mash-up music show
* Seas the Adventure show
* dinner at 1923
* fancy dress up night
* a little Disney Parks music in the S**t Cat Lounge

I also spent some time working on building and taking care of client vacations while watching the thunderstorms roll by and explored a few more areas on the ship. There is still so much more to do and see! I am so thankful for this opportunity to gather info to take back to my families and help make their trips go even more smoothly.

I was invited on the Disney Treasure this week to experience a 7-night, Halloween on the High Seas cruise. My first time on this ship, and my first Halloween cruise! I’m already blown away at how beautiful it is, and there is so much to do and see and eat and experience. Follow along in stories with me! I can’t wait to share everything I’m learning!

There are not enough words to describe how special this experience was with my dad this summer. I look back through these pictures often and want them to have a permanent spot here.

I had never been to Alaska before, and when he invited me earlier this year, I jumped at the chance. I don’t consider myself a fisherman, so I wasn’t sure what to expect on a fishing trip, I just knew I couldn’t pass up this one-on-one time with him in one of his favorite places on earth.

Oh my goodness, did this place exceed anything I could have imagined. It’s like being on a different planet. And I actually fell in love with the fishing! We visited multiple lakes and rivers, saw wildlife everywhere, ate like kings, played cards, watched old westerns, explored the Kenai Peninsula and slept just a little bit (that midnight sun is no joke). We came home with 150 pounds of salmon between the two of us, so we are definitely well-stocked.

Thank you, Dad, for the trip of a lifetime, and the best daddy-daughter date a girl could ask for. Until next time, Alaska! I’ll definitely be back.

First family vacation with ALL three boys in 2 years. My heart is so full. We’re exploring Universal for the first half of the week, moving over to WDW for the second half. We’ve been roasting here in Orlando (they’re experiencing a heat wave and the humidity here is no joke), but we’re having a great time. I’m gathering all the tips and tricks for surviving Florida in the summer, plus learning some new things about the parks to pass on to my amazing clients! Stay tuned in stories for more of our adventures!

Agree or disagree? Disney cruises continue to surprise me! There are so many reasons they are just as fantastic, if not better, than a trip to the parks. If you’re looking for relaxation with a Disney flair, it might just be the perfect vacation for your family!

We tried club level at Yacht Club at Walt Disney World, and I totally get the hype! 3 things I LOVED about it:

1. Breakfast, snacks, desserts, drinks, all included!
2. Minnie Van service from MCO!
3. 20% off VIP tours (best way to see the parks)
