Before you put down that deposit, take a minute to make sure you're booking the right vacation for YOU, not just a good vacation. 👇
Here are 5 common mistakes I see:
1. Booking because someone else loved it
Your friend may have loved that resort, cruise, or destination, but their priorities, budget, travel style, and family may be completely different from yours.
2. Booking based on price alone
The cheapest option isn't always the best value. Sometimes spending a little more in the right place can make the entire trip easier or more enjoyable.
3. Trying to squeeze too much into one trip
You don't need to see and do everything. Especially when traveling with kids, sometimes less on the itinerary means more actual vacation.
4. Planning every minute
A good plan is helpful. A schedule that leaves no room to breathe? Not so much. Build in time to slow down, enjoy your resort, grab a coffee, or simply do nothing.
5. Waiting too long to book
Sometimes waiting means better pricing or promotions. But sometimes it means losing the room, cabin, dates, or experiences you actually wanted.
Your vacation should fit your family, your priorities, and your budget.
Save this before you book your next trip, and follow along for more ways to make the planning part a little less stressful.
