The Children’s Safety Village will be closed today in observance of the July 4th Holiday. We will reopen on Monday, July 7. Have a safe and fun Independence Day!

Never leave them alone in a hot car!

So far in 2025, 13 children have died from heatstroke in hot cars — four of them in just one week this June.

As we head into the July 4th weekend, remember:
Hot cars kill, prevent hot car deaths.
Stop. Look. Lock.
Always check the back seat.
Always lock your car.

Let’s work together to prevent these tragedies. No child should ever be left in a vehicle — not even for a minute.

🌊 In honor of the World’s Largest Swim Lesson Day, we’re spotlighting pool safety tips for parents to help keep summer safe and fun! 🛟👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

While this project is separate from today’s event, we were thrilled to welcome a few swimmers at Children’s Safety Village to gain water safety insights from our amazing swim instructor, Karen! 🏊‍♀️✨

🎉 We also celebrated with goodie bags and sunshine — thank you to all who joined us!

Campers had so much fun learning from the Orange County Fire Rescue Department, Florida Dive Team in our indoor pool today !!
Thank you Lt Allen and Engineer Rock for a great presentation!
Campers all had a chance to speak with the diver under water!
