Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. A truly hidden gem. 💎

We stayed 3 nights in a two-queen bed resort facing room. The pool was refreshing, the beach was recently fixed up with a ton of added sand, and the food was terrific. (Dole whip especially!)
We stopped here for 3 nights on our way back from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando as a detour because we were just not ready for vacation to end. It’s Disney, without being in your face Disney. The same level of service and quality we love, with sea-side inn vibes.

Have you stopped at the Kennedy Space Center before or after your cruise or as a detour from your Florida vacation?!

Somehow after living in Central Florida for 20 years I finally made it out to the Kennedy Space Center and took advantage of the Mercury offer ($21 tickets for Seminole and Volusia county residents until Sept 20)

This past week we had quite the adventure- one night in Fort Lauderdale before our cruise, 3 nights on the Disney Destiny, and 3 nights at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort.
We decided this morning to make a stop at the Space Center on our way home to Orlando and I’m so glad we did!

Orange and Osceola discounted tickets are next week!

Mickey’s Mousequerade Party!
Halloween on the High Seas was a success!
I recommend doing the 6:45pm trick or treating and 7:30 pm mousequerade party- it was half as crowded as the afternoon Halloween events!
