Our sand dunes aren’t meant to be walked through. They’re a natural barrier that helps protect Panama City Beach from storms and erosion. The sea oats and vegetation hold the sand in place, and walking through them can damage the plants and create weak spots in the dunes.

Please use the designated beach accesses and help us protect the dunes that help protect our beach. 💙🌊
