Basically;
It’s low, it’s slow, but summer is ending so we’re still looking to go! Plan to portage some and put in some paddling effort to move forward but enjoy all the greenery and warm before the leaves all fall and it gets cold again!

The pumpkin spice is starting to hit the shelves but summer isnt over yet and it’s a gorgeous forecast for a fun floating weekend! It’s getting a little low & and little slow but not like last year’s drought to head on out before summer is over!

Yup, tons of water came down the pipe as it is now flowing at around 6200 CFS and over 10ft of average depth. Debris in floating in the current could leave new strainers behind as the water drains back down. Crazy how much it can change so quickly.

Well it must be Saturday because here comes the storms, do do do dooo. The hydrologic for the Harpeth below Franklin spiked and now the Bellevue section is already up to 950 CFS and rising as that water makes its way down. PLUS our local area is forecasted to get hit with another round of thunderstorms so add those sprinkles on top of the cake. Stay safe out there and consider picking another day to hit the water!

Basically;
Water and weather came together like peanut butter & jelly for today! Calm and optimal conditions in the river but there is now a chance of thunderstorms for Saturday which could change again by morning. If weather holds off, conditions couldn’t get much better than this! Don’t Dare It, Just Wear It!
