Our last full day in New York City was another fabulous day. Some attended services at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral before our scrumptious brunch at Tavern in the Green.
Most spent the afternoon in Central Park, the museums on the upper west side or attended another Broadway Show.

On day 5 in New York City we toured the Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock with views from the 70th floor. We had lunch at Ellen’s Stardust with the singing waiters. The rest of the afternoon and evening was free for everyone to explore the City on their own. .

Our travels today took us to a brand new Buc-ees in Huber Heights. A great stop for stretch and rest! Day 1 down and 3 states closer to Maine!

While we were on the 9/11 tour, Barb stayed behind and saw the Naked Cowboy! In the evening, we each got to pick a second Broadway show. Most of our group selected Hamilton.

Day 4 in New York City started with another subway ride to the 9/11 Museum. We visited the Survivor Tree and the two pool Memorials. A few of our group walked the Brooklyn Bridge.

We then visited Ellis Island where over 12 million immigrants passed through.

Today we started our day with a subway ride to Battery Park where we boarded the ferry to Statue of Liberty.

After lunch we toured lower Manhattan including drives by Chinatown, Little Italy, SOHO, Greenwich Village, the Courts and Government buildings, Wall Street, Chelsea Market and the Highline. Tonight we saw the Broadway Revival of Ragtime, nominated for 11 Tony Awards, at Lincoln Center for the performing Arts. Tune in tomorrow for our visit to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

Another fabulous day in New York City! We enjoyed a six hour tour with Marta, best tour guide ever. We spent time at the gardens in Central Park, drove through Harlem and down Fifth Avenue before our lunch at Grand Central Terminal.
