Fifty years ago, GLO started with one belief: that the world is the best classroom there is. 🌍

Since 1977, we’ve helped more than 33,000 students step off campus and into the world, through over 650 faculty-led seminars across Europe, Asia, Africa, Iceland, and beyond. Along the way, they’ve studied in new cities, explored new cultures, and walked through the doors of companies shaping our world, from BMW and Coca-Cola to Chelsea FC and Lloyd’s of London.

Now, in 2027, we’re celebrating 50 golden years. And we’re just getting started.

“During my time abroad I was able to visit Sacré-Cœur in Paris. It has a breathtaking view of all of Paris from atop Montmartre. Along with that the church itself is stunning with beautiful works of art within. I even enjoyed walking up the stairs because the street views were stunning.

Now the real reason I wanted to go was because it was where John Wick 4 was filmed. It was awesome to see it in person!!”
