An Adventure For Tomorrow

In 1986 a young couple from Ecuador had a dream that was simple enough: to show the treasures of the Galapagos Islands to the world. Eduardo Diez and Dolores Gangotena believed then, that through sustainable tourism they could keep the islands intact for future generations to enjoy. It was with this mission that they decided to set out on the most memorable voyage of their lives. They employed a wonderful team, most of them really uncertain of the outcome of this crazy endeavor and somehow, they expected everyone to eliminate the impossible from their ideas and turn them into something magical. Over 3 decades later, as pioneers of high-end yacht cruising in the Galapagos Islands, Quasar Expeditions is living proof that their dream became a reality.

Today Quasar Expeditions remains a family-run business, now with their three sons involved in different positions within the company. The video available through the link below tells the tale of this family story.
