📍 Treasure Coast, FL | Right Direction Rentals
Right Direction Rentals is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented housekeeper to help keep our vacation rental properties looking their best!
This is a 1099 independent contractor, as-needed position, perfect for someone looking for flexible work and additional income.
🏡 POSITION DETAILS:
Flexible, as-needed schedule. Some days and weeks are busier than others.
No guaranteed hours — work is based on guest reservations and property turnovers.
Paid per cleaning job, NOT hourly. Rates and additional details will be discussed with qualified applicants.
Weekend availability is a MUST, including Sundays.
Some holiday availability may be needed, although we do our best to avoid scheduling cleanings on major holidays.
Properties are located throughout the Treasure Coast, including Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, and Jensen Beach.
Our office is conveniently located on Port St. Lucie Blvd, where cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens are provided.
🧽 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between properties.
Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and pride in providing spotless, guest-ready homes.
Previous housekeeping or vacation rental cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and company standards.
Good communication skills and responsiveness.
Ability to take and submit photos of completed cleanings.
Willingness to accept occasional last-minute cleaning assignments when available.
⏰ SAME-DAY TURNOVERS:
Vacation rentals operate on tight schedules! Our standard guest checkout is at 10 AM, with new guests arriving as early as 4 PM. Applicants must be comfortable completing thorough cleanings within these timeframes when same-day turnovers are scheduled.
💪 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is an active, hands-on position that requires bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, carrying laundry and supplies, and performing other physically demanding cleaning tasks.

All cleanings must meet our standards, and we conduct property inspections to ensure each home is properly prepared for arriving guests. Photos of completed work and attention to detail are an important part of our process.
