Hi everyone! I have important news: I have decided to permanently shut down my Free Tour, "Secrets of Portlandia." To be clear, I will no longer be offering free tours of Portland every day at 11am. Thank you all for your support over the years! It was a pleasure to provide free tours to locals and tourists alike every summer from 2012 to 2019!! I had the best job in the world, but now it is time for me to pursue other projects. Take care, everyone! -Erik Kennon

Due to the impact of Covid-19 on Portland tourism and safety we have decided to suspend all walking tours until April 1st, 2021. There will be no Free Tours of Portland Downtown this year, 2020. Thank you for your understanding! Have a great visit to Portland and stay safe!

The 2019 Free Tour season has started! Erik's Free Tour starts every day at 11am in front of Pioneer Courthouse (across the street from Pioneer Square.) Meeting point address is 700 SW 6th Ave

The first free tour of 2018 will be on Wednesday, May 2nd at 11am! You don't need a reservation to go on the tour- you can just show up. The meeting point is the sidewalk of SW 6th Ave, right in front of the steps of Pioneer Courthouse. The address is 700 SW 6th Ave, Portland, OR 97204 . From this Friday July 3rd until Sunday September 6th there will be an additional 2:30pm afternoon tour on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only! So, for example, this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 3rd, 4th and 5th, there will be a tour at 11am AND at 2:30pm!

Mondays though Thursdays there will only be a tour at 11am.

Portlands only FREE TOUR reopens this Friday, May 1st! Tours will then run daily at 11am until October 5th, 2015.

Today, Monday October 20th will be the last tour of the 2014 season. The guide who was going to do the tour until November 23rd can no longer make it. Really sorry, folks! We reopen daily free tours on May 5th, 2015.
