The **Ace Class** is Carnival Cruise Line’s next-generation fleet of mega-ships. Representing the largest vessels ever built for the line, the Ace Class is engineered around the design concept of **"More Sea to See,"** aiming to be the most outward-facing class of megaships at sea.
The flagship of this class will be the newly announced **Carnival Destiny**, scheduled to debut in the **summer of 2029**, with two sister ships following in **2031 and 2033**.
Ship Size & Specifications
Gross Tonnage:Massive 230,000 gross tons, making them the largest ships in Carnival's history by a significant margin.
Guest Capacity: Approximately 8,000 passengers at maximum occupancy.
Shipbuilder: Constructed by Fincantieri at the Monfalcone shipyard in Italy.
Panoramic Glass Walls:The ship incorporates more than **4.5 acres of glass**, featuring multi-story glass walls designed to open up sweeping, panoramic sightlines and bring the outside ocean views into the vessel's interior spaces.
Highest Number of Balconies: The Ace Class is designed to feature the highest number of ocean-view balcony staterooms at sea, providing unprecedented access to personal outdoor space.
Reimagined Lanai Deck: The lower, outdoor wraparound deck (the Lanai) is completely redesigned to create a seamless, open connection directly to the ocean.
Over 70% of the onboard venues, attractions, dining experiences, and entertainment options will feature entirely brand-new concepts never before seen on other Carnival ships.
Itineraries
While full deck plans and specific homeports have not yet been released, Carnival has confirmed that Ace Class ships will sail to the line's Paradise Collection—their premier portfolio of exclusive destinations across the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Mexico.
