đź”” HISTORICAL LIBERTY BELL TRAIL: A WALK-THROUGH HISTORYđź””
Take a walk through Quakertown’s history during the Historical Liberty Bell Trail, presented by the Quakertown Historical Society!

⏰ 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
📍 Quakertown, Bucks County
The historical walk begins at the Quaker Friends Meeting House and concludes at the Burgess Foulke House.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
🔹 11:00 a.m. — Brief lecture on the founding of Quakertown
🔹 11:30 a.m. — Ceremony at the Richard Moore gravesite
🔹 12:00 p.m. — A horse-drawn wagon carrying the Liberty Bell travels along Main Street to the Historical Museum. Spectators are encouraged to follow the wagon.
🔹 1:00–2:00 p.m. — Quakertown Band performance
🔹 2:00 p.m. — Reenactment of the Fries Rebellion
🔹 1:00–3:00 p.m. — Activities and historical sites open along Main Street
Visitors may also explore the Richland Library, Liberty Hall and Burgess Foulke House, along with a presentation about the Underground Railroad at McCoole’s Arts & Events Place.
đźš§ TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE đźš§
South Main Street between Mill Road and West Mill Street will be temporarily closed from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for the event.
Drivers should plan an alternate route, allow additional travel time and watch for posted detours and pedestrians throughout the area.
