Congratulations to Hope Jones!

Hope is the lucky winner of a $1,000 WomanTours gift certificate from the Wild Goose Chase raffle!

Founded in 2008 by women’s bicycling pioneer Georgena Terry, the Wild Goose Chase brings women cyclists together to ride the scenic roads in and around Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Over the years, the event has raised more than $250,000 for the Friends of Blackwater to support Refuge projects.

WomanTours was proud to support this year’s ride, and we’re especially excited to welcome Hope into the WomanTours community!

Pedal from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC along the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Towpath, an incredible 335 miles of vehicle-free trails! Along the way, enjoy spring wildflowers, river views, tunnels, historic towns, and plenty of history.

It’s a bucket-list ride for many cyclists. Maybe it’s time to add it to yours!

The Tetons have a way of stopping you in your tracks. Jagged peaks rising straight from the valley floor, vast open landscapes, brilliant blue water, wildlife, and miles of beautiful riding beneath it all.

It’s dramatic. It’s humbling. And somehow, it feels even more spectacular when you experience it from the seat of a bike.

Our Teton Valley tours have wrapped up, and this is one of those places you leave feeling genuinely lucky to have experienced. What an extraordinary corner of the world.
