We are all deeply saddened by last week’s flood event and the loss of life that occurred. The Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the individuals that were affected by the flooding. Our small businesses here in Ruidoso have been hit hard by last year’s fires and flooding and the flooding that occurred this past week. The Ruidoso Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to foster the growth, development and prosperity of Ruidoso, Ruidoso Downs and the surrounding area. To further this mission, we will go ahead with the 54th Annual Ruidoso Art Festival. The event will take place July 25-27th at the Ruidoso Convention Center. The convention center is in a safe location in Ruidoso and the show is an indoor show out of the elements. Please consider coming to Ruidoso and attending the Art Festival. While you are here, shop local, eat at our restaurants and stay in our local lodging establishments. We have many places to stay that are out of the flood areas, safe and beautiful. Ruidoso businesses need our visitors!
