Whether it’s air, water or soil quality, we’ll get a true picture of what is happening and what is being done, should be done and can be accomplished for the future. Cultural exchange

Burn Baby Burn 🔥🙏🏼. “Ano Viego” is a Colombian tradition in which we burn this doll asking that our struggles from the past year are forgotten and the new year brings peace, prosperity and health. The doll comes with everything. Matches, a piece of paper for your wish, eucalyptus, bay leaves, rosemary, alcohol and some tender. You burn the entire box with doll inside. Happy New Year!

Spa day was great for the Land Cruiser. Degreasers, sponge bath, waxed and polished! Felt incredible driving it away.

Please fire away with anything you've ever wondered about - budget, safety, camping, routes, visas, countries, languages, money.
Anything at all that you wonder about and that is a barrier to you hitting the road.

I'll be sure to answer all the topics and questions!

Tequendama Fall
Located in the municipality of Soacha, just outside Bogotá, the Tequendama Fall is magnificent. With a viewing platform from the museum, which overlooks the Bogotá River Fall, you can observe the mist the fall makes to nourish the surrounding forest.

The Tequendama Falls Museum of Biodiversity and Culture, also known as the Tequendama Falls Museum or Casa Museo Salto de Tequendama, was originally built as a mansion and later became the Hotel del Salto, before being abandoned and was later transformed into a museum. There are many artifacts and educational information about the falls inside.

The fall is 132 meters high. The place is also an area of pre-Columbian settlements and of cultural significance.
It can be reached by bus, car or taxi from Bogota. We did a day trip there and had a fantastic lunch at a roadside restaurant.

So the next time you’re in Bogota, take a trip there. Or if you live here make plans to go anytime.
