Good morning from Unit GT-7 Adventhealth Orlando. Day 28 for Geno (16-days this admit + 12-days pre/post-triple bypass surgery). Docs are working to manage his remaining blood clots before he goes to Rehab to improve his mobility (hopefully early this week). 🙏 🙏

When I took this photo on the way to Orlando before Geno's heart bypass surgery, we had no idea what these last 3+ weeks would bring between the surgery itself, a short 2-day discharge followed by ER admit, hospital transfer, 5 platelets transfusions & 2 Thrombectomies to remove pulmonary embolisms (blood clots) from his lungs. ​Thanks to everyone's prayers, things are looking up. He likely has to go to rehab for awhile after d/c but he'll get back home soon.

I'm usually at the beach at 7 a.m, not 7 p.m. Almost forgot how blissful an evening ocean breeze can be. ❣️
