Honu Adventures - Cruise Planners Honu is the Hawaiian word for turtle and represents the navigator; the eternal link among people, the land and the sea.

We are passionate about authentic and sustainable travel and specialize in cozy land and sea experiences. At Honu Adventures we are passionate about authentic travel. Generally, we mean culturally immersive, off the beaten path destinations where you actually live, or at least deeply experience the culture. The perfect example is a trip to Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom in the heart of the Himalayas.

When you visit Bhutan, you will spend time doing what the locals do ... circumambulating stupas, hiking to hidden temples, eating the local cuisine (which is unique and delicious) and experiencing a national mindset where national happiness is the driving force behind all walks of life, from the King of Bhutan, Jigme Wangchuck, to the village farmer working in the fields. Honu Adventures was created to introduce travelers to this unique experience by advising clients on how to make this journey to Bhutan safely while taking out the guess work in planning the trip. We also provide service to other destinations, such as Hawaii and Mexico, but even there, we focus on being as culturally immersive as possible. Whether exploring the Dzongs of Bhutan, the Heiaus of Hawaii or the Pyramids of Mexico, Honu Adventures will be with you every step of the way in planning every last detail of your trip to ensure the best value in terms of time, money and experience.
