🌿 Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ descended the Mount of Olives and entered Jerusalem — not on a war horse, but on a donkey. The streets erupted. Palm branches were torn from the trees and laid across the dusty road. Cloaks were spread before Him. Voices filled the Kidron Valley with a cry that echoed through the ages: "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!” — John 12:13
It was exactly as the prophet had foretold centuries before: Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a c**t, the foal of a donkey." — Zechariah 9:9
Today, as we mark Palm Sunday 🌿, may we pause at the start of this most sacred week. Holy Week invites us to walk slowly — through betrayal, suffering, and death — and toward the empty tomb. Let us hold both the beauty and the weight of this moment. Blessed Holy Week to all. 🌿
