As we continue to dive into graduation season this month, we’d like to say congratulations to the class of 2026! 🥳 And we would especially like to send a special shout out to a couple of our very own graduates, starting with the one and only Lupe! She has completed her B.A. in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach and we couldn’t be more proud of her! Lupe is an incredibly kind, patient, and hard worker who is always going out of her way to help our guests and visitors get to where they need to go. Her directions are so detailed that she gives google maps a run for their money 😜

Also we want to congratulate Melanie for graduating from Lakewood High School! Melanie is very detail oriented, quick to solve problems, and makes sure everyone around her is taken care of. We can’t wait to see what your bright future holds as you enter into this next chapter!

Did you know Swordfish can grow to 15 feet long and weigh over 1000 pounds! They are born with teeth and scales and actually lose them over time making them toothless and scaleless. This adaptation allows them to reach speeds of 50 to 60 mph, making them one of the fastest apex predators in the ocean!

We had some surprise encounters on our whale watching trips today! One minute we were hanging out with dolphins, the next, a swordfish popped up next to the boat on our 12pm trip! We also spotted a Sea Turtle on our 3pm trip! Just goes to show, you never know what you are going to see out whale watching! We offer daily trips at 12pm and 3pm.
