A few weeks ago, we welcomed some of our neighbors aboard for a pretty great evening on the water. 🌊

Members from the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, Seal Beach, Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce and Greater Lakewood Chambers joined us for a sunset Membership Mixer filled with good people, live music, a few bites and some pretty great views of our waterfront.

A little wildlife. A little ocean air. And a closer look at what’s been living just offshore this whole time. Turns out, living near the ocean and actually getting out on it are two very different things.

Today is ! 🐋🐬🦭

Out on the Pacific, you never quite know who might make an appearance. From whales and dolphins to sea lions and seabirds, every trip is a reminder of just how much life calls our local waters home. 🌊

As Blue Whale Season comes to a close, we definitely had these large animals predominantly at the beginning and end of the season. While there was an abundance of Humpbacks, Dolphins, Minkes, and even the extremely rare Bryde’s whale, we noticed that our larger Baleen Whales seemed to be further off shore this year. Perhaps due to the warmer waters this year or maybe they were not interested in the food that was in our waters… Either case we are grateful for all the times we got to see them this summer! Our last sighting was a couple weeks ago when we spotted a Cow Calf pair traveling up the coast for our first couple trips of the day. Hope you guys had a great summer, can’t wait to see what other whales we get to see this fall!!! 😎🐋
