On Friday, we had the privilege of partnering with Cuesta College to host a Career Fair for students in the Cuesta AMT program. Every student had the opportunity to sit down with the team from each company to ask questions, learn about their company, and find out what prospective job opportunities were open to them when they graduated the program. Participating companies represented a wide range of maintenance careers, including business aviation, rocketry, drone technology and other innovative aviation fields, many of whom are based on the Central Coast. The current high demand for qualified mechanics in aviation, combined with the soon-to-be newly minted mechanics exploring their future career paths, made it a great opportunity for all participants.
