Today we landed 37 rockfish, 2 halibut and released 2 shorts. Both halibut were over 10lb.

Today’s charters landed a total of 45 rockfish, 1 big lingcod, 2 halibut and released 1 short seabass.

What an awesome opener! Took us a few stops to find the fish but once we did it was over by 11am. 4 limits to 16lb.

Took out a bachelor party of 6 today and they slayed it. 58 rockfish, 1 lingcod, 1 calico bass and 2 large halibut. I still have a few week days left this month and only the 22nd on the weekends.

Another big lingcod hit the deck today and another large cabezon! The shallow water is getting better every day.

Another great day out of Santa Cruz! Lots of big rockfish, a couple keeper lingcod, and another nice cabezon. Also released 3 short lingcod and 1 short halibut.

Wide open rockfish, a 20” cabezon and a couple short lingcod today! Done in 2 hours. Hopefully a good sign for the long weekend. I still have Monday available if anyone wants to get out there.

Inshore fishing is heating up just in time for summer! With some halibut being caught, and rockfish and lingcod going well, we still have some availability for later this month and June. Inshore season starts in a couple days and we are looking forward to rockfish, lingcod and halibut combos! On nearly all of our trips from now through summer we will have the opportunity to fish for multiple species.

Great rock fishing again today! Lots of big chili peppers, canaries, and greenspots. Capped with an 11.2lb nearly 36” boccacio rockfish.

All big fish today! Mostly canaries and chili peppers with an 8lb vermillion and 2 soles. The weather looks great for this weekend and it’s my last weekend availability for the month. In May we will be back to shallow water rockfish.

Another day of wide open chili pepper rockfish! Also caught 5 large soles over 18”. I still have next Saturday and Sunday available. The weather looks great, and the big rockfish are biting.
