Last week we went out and went 5 for 8 on bluefin. The weather looks great this Thursday and may be our last chance for a while to get out on the tuna grounds. I have 5 spots open this Thursday 10/15. $500 each. Please DM or call/text 925-813-0379 to book.

Inshore fishing has been awesome lately. Big rockfish, lingcod and bonito are biting. Hopefully the weather calms down soon to get back out on the tuna grounds.

This is how we fight tuna during their final moments. Properly tuned gear helps to ensure the fish makes it in the boat quickly. This 100lb tuna was brought in the boat in about 8 minutes. Phenix Rods Axis 130-200lb and PENN Fishing 50VISX putting in the heavy lifting. RAP Systems LLC allows us to control the fish and get leverage.

Found some fish away from the fleet on live bait again. We also had 3 other solid bites that didn’t stay connected. The offshore weather looks terrible for at least the next week so be sure to get on our call list for the next weather window.

Fished out of Seward with Captain Dave from yesterday. We sent it 70 miles offshore in search of big halibut in less than ideal conditions. The day started off slow but after some chumming within a couple hours the bite turned on. and I of course landed the biggest halibuts on the boat and a yellow eye for each of us. I was the only one jigging and hooked 2 halibut and a yellow eye on the jig. Our honeymoon is off to a great start and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings.

What a great 4th of July weekend slaying king salmon out of Santa Cruz! Looks like our peak season is here so book those trips. I just had July 8th come available again due to cancellation and July 10th still available.

Today was one of those days we won’t forget for awhile! Took the day off to fish with my wife and a couple friends and we found a couple great areas of biting salmon. I still have July 7th, 8th and 10th available for anyone that wants to get after it!

These guys slayed the salmon today! All big fish and the mackerel have mostly moved out of our area. I had 1 spot open up this Friday for salmon and then I only have July 10th and 12th available until the end of July.
