One of the coolest experiences in the Mekong Delta was getting to see how rice paper is made by hand. 🌾🇻🇳
The process looks simple, but it takes so much skill! Rice is soaked and ground into a smooth batter, then spread into thin sheets over a hot steamer. Each delicate sheet is carefully lifted, placed onto bamboo mats, and left to dry in the sun.
What I loved most was seeing a tradition that has been passed down through generations still being a part of everyday life for local families. It’s these little experiences that make traveling so special—you get to see the culture, not just the sights.
