We’ve had five straight days of one night guests! However, the one we’re most excited about is a stay for our nephew and our new niece! Congratulations Christopher and Liz 👰🤵

When our sister-in-law Robin passed away, she left behind her beloved chickens. Her son and daughter gifted us with them and we placed them at the Bin for the guests to enjoy. We named the hen house “Robin’s Nest” in her memory.

People are calling it “9-2-5 Day”, “Dolly Day” or “Give Like Dolly Day”, but it’s truly a special day to honor an extraordinary woman. We chose to take up donations for the elementary teachers at Santa Fe School. These ladies exemplify the heart of what Dolly wanted to inspire in teaching children. Thank you to all you teachers out there and thank you to the people in the community that donated.

We took our Dolly Day picture early because we have guests coming in today. We are so thankful for The Imagination Library established by Dolly because it sent all our grandchildren books every month. We honor her with a pink flag at the Bin and a community donation to Santa Fe School tomorrow. 🩷

Just when I think we can’t get a nicer note from guests, we do. We had a lovely couple here from Canada. They bought property in Santa Fe and it’s good to know we made a good impression. Much love Santa Fe for being kind to new neighbors ❤️
