Back from an incredible few days in Cape Town attending We Are Africa — one of the most inspiring luxury travel trade shows in the world. 🌍✨

There’s nothing better than spending time face-to-face with some of Africa’s most innovative safari lodges, boutique hotels, conservation leaders and experience providers, constantly learning about new properties, hidden gems and unforgettable experiences to bring back to my clients.

From exciting new luxury camps to unique cultural and adventure experiences, the creativity and passion within African tourism is truly next level.

One of the highlights for me was the sunrise adventures - watching the sky light up over the ocean and mountains from a kayak and a catamaran, reminding me why this destination is so special. And of course… seeing Cape Town from the air on a breathtaking helicopter ride was absolutely unforgettable 🚁✨

Travel is constantly evolving, and I love continuing to grow, learn and build relationships that allow me to create even more meaningful and personalized journeys for my clients.

The more I explore Africa firsthand, the more valuable insight I can bring to every itinerary I design.

Botswana completely stole my heart 🇧🇼✨

From the wild elephant encounters of Camp Savuti, to gliding silently through the magnificent open waterways of the Okavango Delta at Camp Okavango, and unforgettable game drives at Camp Xakanaxa — every moment felt like stepping into a National Geographic documentary.

What makes the Okavango Delta so special is the incredible sense of quiet wilderness. Vast open landscapes, winding delta channels, the distant call of fish eagles, and endless moments where it feels like you have the entire African bush to yourself. It’s peaceful, raw, untouched, and unbelievably beautiful.

One of the things I loved most about traveling with Desert & Delta Safaris was how each camp offered a completely different experience of Botswana’s wilderness. Think roaring lions at sunset, mokoro rides through lily-covered channels, golden African light, and evenings around the fire under a sky filled with stars.
