The 4.5-mile River Loop Trail connects Schenectady, Scotia and Glenville, bringing together beautiful Mohawk River views, local parks, historic neighborhoods and some of our favorite waterfront destinations.

🎨🚲 There’s something NEW to see along the Empire State Trail! Join Cycle Schenectady and Create Community Studios on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at noon for the dedication of the latest Rotterdam Junction mural along the Empire State Trail.

✨ Walk through the newly transformed tunnel
🎨 Meet the artists and organizers behind the project
🥤 Enjoy light refreshments
🚗 Getting there: Take Route 5S to Rotterdam Junction, turn onto Scrafford Lane with parking on the road.

This beautiful mural was made possible with support from the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor and New York State Canal Corporation, Schenectady Metroplex, and Schenectady County.
