🌊🍄 Our First Summer Coastal Foray!

What an incredible Sunday on the Washington coast! 🌲🌊🍄

Our first Summer Coastal Foray was filled with good people, beautiful scenery, and plenty of mushroom talk. We explored the unique coastal forests while learning how to read the landscape, identify wild mushroom habitats, and understand what makes these ecosystems so special.

A huge thank you to Truffle Dog Company and Forage Seattle for joining us and making the weekend even more memorable! 🙌

Chanterelle season has arrived, and there’s no better way to spend a day outdoors than exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with Wild Forages PNW!

Our guided mushroom walks are fun, educational, and perfect for families, friends, couples, and anyone who loves nature. You’ll learn how to safely identify wild mushrooms, discover fascinating plants and fungi, and explore some of the most beautiful forests in Washington.

Golden chanterelles are known for their bright golden color, delicious flavor, and fruity aroma, and we’re already seeing lobster mushrooms beginning to appear as well!

At Wild Forages PNW, our goal is to help people slow down, connect with nature, and build confidence in the outdoors while creating lasting memories together. Whether it’s your first time in the woods or you’re an experienced mushroom hunter, everyone is welcome.

🌲 Our first foray of the season was a success! 🍄

Thanks to everyone who joined us for an incredible day in the forest. A special shoutout to Regina, an aspiring mycologist and chef, who joined us for her very first mushroom foraging adventure. Her enthusiasm, curiosity, and impressive knowledge of fungi made the day even more enjoyable. Watching someone experience the excitement of finding wild mushrooms for the first time is always a reminder of why we love sharing this passion.
