Confused about where I am? So is my body, so I get it. I woke up a few days ago and didn’t recognize my own bedroom. 😬

Right now I am in San Diego at the ASTA industry conference. It’s the best way to learn about the state of the industry from leaders of travel and other travel advisors. Learning and growing is how I can service you better in your travels. Despite AI and all the internet resources, travel is more complex than ever. I am proud to be a travel advisor to help clients navigate all the travel options and provide experiences to feel connected to the destination.

Always a good time with these new friends. We hit a lovely winery in Korcula, Croatia and attempted to take artsy photos with varying degrees of success!

It’s not all about the sea in Croatia. We headed inland for a traditional PEKA dinner at a family farm. Truly a farm to table experience! The light was beautiful as the day headed into evening. Fabulous food, wine and friends!

Croatia in May can be a bit chilly and windy swimming in the sea, but couldn’t resist! I was the first to jump in! It is so briny! I was rocking my fluffy PNW pale self because I wasn’t going to skip it. The matching blue hair and swimsuit weren’t planned but hey! Don’t let anything stop you!

Exploring the Croatian island of Korcula with the lovely mistress of Marco Polo. Ending up the evening on top of a tower. Just what one does in Croatia.

We met Lady Francesca, Marco Polo’s mistress, on the Croatian island of Korcula. She was delightful with a b***y sense of humor. The old town itself is charming enough to draw Marco Polo and others again and again. Designed in a “fish shape” to accommodate the winds from the sea, the Venetian influence is strong. We ended the night at the top of the tower. Which was accessible by ladder. Drinks were hauled up from below by pulley. Glad the sunset was worth climbing the ladder! And that the rain mostly held off!
