We are photographing roseate spoonbills from a stable pontoon boat, close enough to see every feather, as the morning light turns them pink-gold.

That's a typical morning on our Florida Birds photo tour — one of the most productive bird photography experiences in North America.

We visit three of Florida's most active wading bird rookeries at peak nesting season: wood storks, great blue herons, anhingas, spoonbills, and more — often just feet from active nests. Bald eagles in flight. Snail kites hunting. Ospreys carrying fish to their young.
