250 Years may seem like a very long time, but geologically, it's just a small blip in the grand tapestry of Earth's 4.5 billion-year history. To put it into perspective, humans entered the picture long after the events that shaped the landscape, and our existence is merely a fleeting moment in the Earth's timeline. Tectonic shifts, the age of the dinosaurs, volcanic eruptions, even a giant meteor, all played a part in sculpting the breathtaking landscapes we see today. The Grand Canyon was carved out over millions of years by the relentless flow of the Colorado River. Today, we are all stewards of the magnificent places that make America beautiful and special. Whether you volunteer at a nearby park, participate in a local clean-up initiative, or simply 'leave no trace' of your visit by packing out what you pack in, you'll be doing your part to preserve these natural wonders for future generations to enjoy.

Thanks, Charlie! Great job.

"An Unforgettable Experience with Charlie!
If you are planning a tour of the Grand Canyon, do yourself a huge favor and ask for Charlie! From the moment the tour started, it was clear that Charlie is incredibly passionate and exceptionally knowledgeable. What set him apart was that the experience didn't just start when we reached the canyon; Charlie provided fascinating, rich history for all the scenery leading up to every single destination along the way. He connected the dots between the landscape, the geology, and the local history, making the entire drive just as engaging as the main viewpoints.
Thanks to Charlie, we didn't just see the Grand Canyon—we truly understood its story. He was professional, engaging, and made the whole day seamless. Highly recommended!"

During its 250 years, America has turned the page on countless chapters. Among the most iconic is the establishment of Route 66. During 1926, the U.S. Bureau of Public Roads networked together a series of existing roadways linking Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica, California and designated it Route 66. Often referred to as the Mother Road, its early years were marked by local farm-to-market traffic. During the difficult Great Depression and Dust Bowl days, it served as a lifeline to those seeking new opportunities in California. During WWII, it was the corridor for movement of munitions and troops between California and the Midwest. And after the war, travelers were encouraged to "See the USA" and "Get Their Kicks" on the famous road. While America celebrates its 250th anniversary, Route 66 celebrates 100 years. We think that's reason enough to get out and explore!

Arizona became the 48th State on Valentine's Day 1912. We've always been known for expansive landscapes and beautiful scenery. Even today, only about 20% of the state is privately held. The public lands are dotted with national parks, state parks, national monuments and tribal parks, all of which offer visitors amazing places to explore.
